MRS. BEVERLY SARAFENCHON, beloved wife of George Sarafenchon of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre with her family at her side on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the age of 73 years.

Beverly is survived by her husband George, son Scott (Tara) Sarafenchon of Calgary, daughter Kami Sarafenchon of Calgary and sister Thelma Lougheed of Moose Jaw, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Henry Moody and sister Elva Jackson.

Beverly loved her family, friends, children, cooking, gardening and animals. She was a compassionate, thoughtful and honourable woman. Her quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity, unique sense of humour and quick wit will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with Wendy Gillett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Beverly’s name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Lethbridge Cancer Centre, 960-19th Street S., Lethbridge, AB., T1J 1W5.
