She is survived by her children Gail (Bruce) Cameron, Timmy Seymour, Russell “Terry” Ryder, Jo-Anne (Dave) Wiswell, Dan (Anita) Ryder, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her parents, Vera and Helmer Nybo, her sister Frances Olson, son Steven Barry Seymour Ryder, her husband Edward Micheal Ryder and her first husband Russell Anthony Seymour. She is survived by her siblings Don (Denise) Nybo, Shirley (George-deceased) Benallack, Thelma (Don) Grant, Harvey (Cheryl) Nybo.

She grew up on a farm near Hallonquist SK and took her elementary school in Dendron School and in Swift Current. She attended high school in Swift Current and Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute in Outlook SK. Norma lived in Swift Current and Saskatoon, and following the death of her first husband she lived in Calgary and Lethbridge.

Norma enjoyed family and family activities, travelling, and camping. She loved her children and enjoyed her pets. Norma was at home on the farm and enjoyed the outdoors. In her younger years, her interests were more focused on working in the shop with her father than on homemaking. Later in life she rekindled her love for art and painting, and the walls of her apartment were decorated with her watercolours.

Norma was an avid collector, had a wicked sense of humour and loved to tease the people she loved. She cherished her whole family and her son Timmy held a special place in her heart. She will be missed by her many friends at St. Michael’s Health Centre where she lived for the past four years.
