RUTH PUHL, beloved wife of Tony Puhl, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the age of 78 years surrounded by a family who loved her dearly. Ruth’s passion for her Lord, family, friends and garden was endless. She loved her flowers and God has called her to his garden in paradise. Ruth will be greatly missed by her husband Tony, 5 children and their families: Christine (Randy) Cheveldave, sons Nic and Hunter of Vancouver, B.C.; David (Lorna), sons Dane and Dalton of Calgary; Bryon (Michelle), children Aaron (Christine), Larei (Rylan) King, great-granddaughter Vaera and expected great-grandchild of Foremost, Shayla and Nathan of Lethbridge; Jennifer (Cameron Fargo) of Australia and Cindie (Peter) Emard, daughters Kinsey and Hannah of Lethbridge. Ruth is also survived by his sisters Adela Dieterle of Red Cliff and Alice Halstead of Okotoks, brother-in-law Paul (Norma) Michaud of High River as well as numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend Betty Palate. Ruth was predeceased by parents Carl and Marie Lindwall and sisters Evelyn Cowie and Sylvia Michaud. Raised in Burdett, Ruth lived her adult life in Lethbridge and was married for 58 years. She was known for her gentle and loving nature by all who met her and through her participation in the Victory Church, CNIB bowling, Parkinson’s Association, the Lethbridge Senior Center, the ‘Breakfast Club’ and the ‘Ladies Group’. Ruth played a large part in raising her grandchildren and we will greatly miss her prayers. Mom we love you and your love for us is cherished now and forever. ‘Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.’ James 5:16 Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the VICTORY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, 1 Mile East of Lethbridge on Hwy # 3, on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Wayne Borsma officiating. A private family Interment will be held prior to the service.
