MR. RUDY WALL, beloved husband of Mrs. Lois Wall of Coaldale and father to Brandon J C Wall, passed away at the Coaldale Hospital on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of 61 years. He was born in Coaldale Hospital on July 24, 1946 to the great delight of Margaret and Jacob C. Wall. He became the brother to three sisters, Erika, Lora and Joan. He grew up on the farm helping his father with everyday farm life. He attended school in Coaldale and also attended Lethbridge College. At the passing of his dad in 1967, he took over the family farm. He married Lois in 1975 and together they continued farming. In 1981, Brandon joined their family. From 1987-1993, he was a member to the Alberta Sugar Beet Growers Board. He was a strong supporter of the sugar beet growers. He was always an advocate for the farmers. With his loud voice, he always voiced his concerns and opinions and was definitely heard. In 1993, he became a Real Estate Agent and joined Perlich Real Estate. He enjoyed that career and all the people he dealt with. He had a very good rapport with John Perlich. He considered John a friend. He worked for Perlich Real Estate until the time of his passing. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, riding horses with his wife and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed the weekend or day trips to Kalispell or Great Falls, Montana. If he wanted to go on a holiday the first thought was to the USA. He battled cancer and took treatment and thought it was cured but in September it was diagnosed as recurring Lymphoma. He had some time to make good choices and plans. On October 12, he peacefully went to meet the Lord. Besides his loving wife, Lois, Rudy is survived by his son, Brandon; three sisters, Erika Lyon, Lora Seabrook and Joan (John) Martens; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Margaret Wall.
