REMPLE, JEANNETTE IRENE

JEANNETTE IRENE REMPLE, of Lethbridge, passed away on October 15, 2011 at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, at the age of 70 years. She is the loving and devoted mother of Brian James (Carolyn) Teichroeb, Brenda Diane Tkachuk and Sandra Lynn (Darren) Hutchison. She is also survived by five grandchildren Mitchel Lee Teichroeb, Meghan Elisabeth Tkachuk, Sydney Rebekah Tkachuk, Kendra Jeannelle Hutchison and Ethan Joel Hutchison. Jeannette was predeceased by her daddy Abram Remple and mom Linda Remple (Epp) (nee Penner) and dad Isaac Epp. Born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Jeannette spent some of the best years of her life growing up at the Two Rivers Bible Institute near Nipiwan from the ages of 14 to 18 years being raised by her Mom, Linda and Dad, Isaac Epp. In her adult years, after her Mom moved to Lethbridge, they became “best friends”. In 1962, she moved from Swift Current to Lethbridge and started a family. She lovingly dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. In the service of others, she volunteered with organizations such as the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Good Samaritans, Diabetes Association, and the MS Society which were very dear to her heart. She also spent 10 years singing and ministering with “Light House” and “King’s Echo” touching many and serving the Lord. Friendships were very important to her. Working at Woodward’s and Safeway for over 18 years, she developed and kept strong ties with the “Woodward’s Gals”. She was the founder and leader of a Ladies Support and Friendship Group. From that group, many dear friendships were created and lead to her “Thursday nights with the coffee girls”, which she always looked forward to. Some of her favorite things were family photos, bubble baths, family get-together’s, coffee with friends, her family ring, her willow collection, her snowman collection, spending time with seniors, cooking and baking for her family. Our sweet, precious and beautiful Mom and Grandma, we will miss you. A Funeral Service will be held at CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, 716-23 Street North, Lethbridge, on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Wes Midgett, officiating.
