Rains, Teresa Marie

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful woman, mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend, TERESA MARIE RAINS, on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 at the age of 52 years.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Toni (Randall Starkell) Klein and Mike (Bobbi Geddes) Klein, grandchildren: Kayla, Vanessa, Kristy, Noah, Jayce, Riley and Kaden; her brother, Bruce (Patty) Brewer and nephews, Garret and Zachery.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Bette Lou and John Brewer.

Teresa was born in Trenton, Ontario on November 16th, 1963. Her family relocated to British Columbia shortly after, living in a number of towns and cities with her father's career. Eventually she moved to southern Alberta where she married, raised her family and lived out her life till her passing.

She loved gardening, exploring the outdoors and had a special passion for cooking and baking. She was very social and cherished her time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Teresa's Life will be held at CORNERSONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.

In memory of Teresa and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, 600-60 St. Clair Avenue East, Toronto, ON M4T 1N5

Teresa rented our Lethbridge house for 3 years. I'm glad I had the chance to speak to her a few months ago. She was a lovely person and we won't forget her.

On behalf of the Crohn's and Colitis Canada Lethbridge Chapter please accept our heartfelt condolences. I had the privilege of meeting Teresa at several of our local events. We truly appreciate your request for memorial donations to the CCC. These donations will fund research to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcertive colitis, patient advocacy and education.
