Racz-Peters, Anne Julia

ANNE JULIA RACZ-PETERS, beloved wife of Stanley Peters of Milk River, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children; Louie (Joan) Racz of Nanoose Bay, B.C., Ron (Brenda) Racz of Milk River and Sherry (Harry) Korthuis of High River, grandchildren; Jason (Sandy) Racz, Nicole (Jim) Tarzwell, Ryan (Sammy) Racz, Jamie (Travis) Cameron, Michael Cameron, Ryan (Linda) Peters, Rob, Jenae and Britney Peters, Bob (Karen) Anderson, Tanya (Roland) Cloutier, Blake, Kent and Laura Noble and great grandchildren; Dawson and Rylin Berger and Logan Racz. She is also survived by her siblings; Mary (Ken) Stenson, John (Bev), Steve (Betty Lou), Pete (Evelyn) and Andy (Sheila) Mazutinec as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Julia Mazutinec, 1st husband Louie Racz, daughter Marjorie Anne and brother Joe. Anne was born on September 9, 1934 in Lethbridge. She was raised and educated in Shaughnessy. She met and married Louie Racz and together they had 4 children. They farmed in the 1-17 district before moving to Milk River. After Louie's passing in 1991 she continued working in the Prairie Rose Lodge where she met Stan Peters and they where married in 1997. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. Anne loved to garden and getting together with her friends from the Senior's Centre to play cards and bingo, and her friends from the South Country Jamboree Society to dance and enjoy music. Anne will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Krause officiating. Cremation to follow.
