JOSE LUIS QUIROGA, beloved husband of Darlene Quiroga (nee Nash), of Lethbridge, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre, in Calgary, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 65 years.

A Celebration of Jose's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.

Jos?, thanks so much for make me feel welcome and loved when arrived as a new member of your family. I am very proud to carry your last name as a simbol of kindness, honesty, hard work and good sense of humor. Rest In Peace my dear Pepe.

It is hard to imagine a world without Jose, a gentle "giant" of a man, who refused to be defined or limited by his physical stature. We are so glad that Darlene and Jose found each other and had many happy years together. The harder life got, the more Jose blessed and encouraged everyone around him. Consumed by grief at the loss of a child - the hardest thing a parent could ever have to endure, Jose stood on a chair to hug our oldest son, making us all laugh and feel loved in the midst of our pain. Hard working, dependable, kind and gentle, positive and encouraging, with a great sense of humour. We were truly blessed to know you, Jose and already miss you more than words can say.
