Poelman, Anje

"Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you." Psalm 84: 4
It is with sadness, but not without hope, that we announce that Annie Poelman (nee Sinnema) was called home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the age of 88 years.
Annie was born in Granum on December 26, 1926, she was the third of seven children born to Evert and Detje Sinnema. Her family moved to the Granum area where she met and married Klaas Poelman on November 18, 1947. Together they farmed and raised their family east of Granum before moving to Lethbridge in 2002. She lived her faith in all that she did and was an active member of her church. She loved Bible study, gardening, sewing and reading. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were truly a blessing to her and she was very involved in their lives. She will be greatly missed.
Annie is lovingly remembered by her loving husband for 68 years, Klaas and two sons, George (Shirley) of Granum and Chuck (Doris) of Abbotsford, along with 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Annie is also remembered by her sister, Jennie Bajema; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Wilma) Poelman and Bill (Hetty) Poelman; sisters-in-law, Edith Sinnema, Henrietta Wierenga and Jennie Williamson. She was predeceased by her infant son, George; three brothers, Case, Bill and Peter, and two infant sisters.
