JORDAN PISKO, of Blairmore, AB, beloved son of Robert Pisko and Linda Comstock, passed away suddenly, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the age of 43 years.

He is survived by his loving parents Bob Pisko and Linda Comstock, his daughter Cambria, brothers Robin and Paul, Grandparents Robert and Caroline Comstock as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

Jordan was predeceased by his Grandparents Jack and Bea Pisko.

Jordan was born September 11, 1978 in Lethbridge where he received his education. Growing up, Jordan and his brothers learned to ski and snowboard at Castle Mountain where their dad was a ski patrol. Jordan loved playing street hockey with his brothers and friends. He also loved skateboarding and would spend hours on their homemade half pipe. He enjoyed fly fishing and was very good at fly tying. Later on, he became involved in martial arts and did very well in competition.

Jordan was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He had a good heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. His pride and joy was his daughter, Cambria, whom he loved dearly. He also had a great love for animals which he inherited from his mom. He definitely was loved and will be missed by so many people.

Jordan struggled many years with addiction. Despite his attempts at rehab, he just couldn't win this battle. "Addiction is the only disease that takes your soul before it takes your life." We are so heartbroken over the loss of Jordan but take comfort in knowing he is at peace.

A Private Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Jordan will be interred with his Grandpa and Grandma Pisko in Mountain View Cemetary.

The Service will be livestreamed and available to view via Jordan's obituary on the cornerstone website.

I lived across the street from Linda, Jordan and Paul for a couple years in the mid '80's and as neighbors I quickly became friends with Linda and the boys. Among the memories was when seeing Jordan, Paul and their friends out playing road hockey, my roommate and I would grab our sticks go out and join in the game. The Jordan I will always remember is that happy, energetic kid, always with a smile on his face. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with Linda and Paul and the rest of the family. Dear Bob and Linda and family, We would like to publicly express our sincere condolences to you both, Jordan's brothers and extended family. After our telephone conversations with both of you after Jordan's death, we realized how he was on a positive path in bettering his life, including a new relationship. However he encountered a detour in the road which subsequently took his life.
