It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paul A. Peacock, beloved husband of Julie. Paul was 80 years of age at the time of his passing on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Paul was born on July 8, 1941 in Statesville, North Carolina to the late Paul and Edna Peacock. Paul was the oldest of eight children. He is survived by his siblings, Walter, Nancy, Tom, Judy, Steve. He was predeceased by two sisters; Francis Dean and Rebecca Lynn.
Paul married the love of his life, Julia (Julie) L. Reid on December 16, 1960. They shared 61 beautiful years together. Their lives took them from North Carolina with the United States Air Force moving them to Alberta, Canada in the early 60s. Upon Paul's retirement from the military back in North Carolina their moves took them to Colorado, Texas, Wyoming and finally settling in the Great White North in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada for the past 40 years.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Julie and their children, Larry Wayne (Mikal), Tim (Melony), Kim (Murray), Wendy (Rick), Wes (Karen), 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and an aunt across the United States and Canada.
Paul loved the outdoors; the mountains, fishing, camping, hiking and sharing his love of Jesus with others. Being with family was his greatest joy.
We rejoice in knowing that he is in the arms of Jesus. He will be fondly remembered and missed. Until we meet again…
