PATRICIA LYNN TRISKA, beloved wife of Al Triska, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer, on October 29, 2008 at the age of 63 years. She is the loving mother of Keith Triska and Nicole of Lethbridge; Lorna and Darren Fritz of Duchess, AB; six grandchildren Mark Triska of Lethbridge; Megan Triska of Lethbridge; Ryan Collar of Lethbridge; Aaron Logan of Lethbridge; and Brad and Nicole Fritz of Duchess; her mother-in-law Annie Triska of Coaldale; and her nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. She is also survived by her extended birth family. Pat was predeceased by her twin brother, Patrick Glen Davison, her chosen parents, Sam and Kay Davison. Born, raised and educated in Lethbridge, AB, Pat was a grad from LCI and a room 30 Angel at Hamilton Jr. High. She married her best friend Albert Triska on May 18, 1964. Together they had two children, Keith and Lorna. She was very involved in the Kinsmen/Kinnettes where she was the first recipient of the Elspeth Rogers Life Membership Award. Pat worked for over 29 years with the Royal Bank meeting many, many people and a life time of friendships in Creston, B.C. and Lethbridge, AB. While in Lethbridge she became very involved in the YMCA and served on the YMCA Board. Pat had many talents and hobbies. She loved quilting and made each of her grandkids a special one. She also loved woodworking at the seniors center, as well as she loved traveling to Arizona every chance she got. Pat will be remembered and loved always and forever by all who knew her. A special thank you to the palliative and home care teams and Dr. Strank, as well a special thank you to her cousin Dr. Marion Taylor of Leduc, AB for spending endless hours caring for Pat over the last three weeks as well as all of her family.
