MARION "M" PATCHING, beloved wife of Eric Patching, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

MARION M PATCHING, beloved wife of Eric Patching of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the age of 60 years.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Shelly (Chris) Kruger of Lethbridge and Kevin (Stephanie) Dub? of High Prairie, AB; stepchildren Matthew (Sharalyn) Patching and Andrew Patching, both of Lethbridge; grandchildren Aiden Kruger, Alyssa Kruger, Zachary Patching, Emma Patching, Lucas Patching and Addison Dub?, and her beloved dog, Myka.

Marion was born on April 10, 1961, in Lethbridge, Alberta. She grew up on a sugar beet farm in Burdett with her parents Maria and Nick Mikoula, and her sister Julie. At the age of 18, Marion moved to High Prairie, AB, where she married Don Dub? and settled on a cattle farm near Joussard, AB, for 20 years. They had two children, daughter Shelly Kruger and son Kevin Dub?. Marion became a junior accountant and enjoyed consulting as a bookkeeper. In 2002, Marion moved to Lethbridge and remarried to Eric Patching in 2005. She happily settled in Lethbridge, enjoying her family and grandchildren.

Marion was always passionate about emergency services. She was active with Victim Services in High Prairie, AB, and completed her dispatch course in Lethbridge. Marion worked at the Servus Credit Union in Magrath, AB. She left her role to pursue a career as a Purchaser for Shoppers Home Health Care. Marion also continued her love for accounting and bookkeeping and doing taxes for her family and friends.

Her ultimate passion was cooking. She also loved gardening, travelling to Los Cabos, Mexico, and being around her friends and family. Her most favourite thing was watching her grandchildren compete in their sporting activities.

Breast Cancer research was a cause close to Marion's heart. In memory of her, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada (https://bcsc.ca/get-involved/donate/)

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home (2825 32nd St. S, Leth, AB) on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Ralph Molyneux officiating.
