It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend Blaine on March 24, 2018.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend Blaine on March 24, 2018.
He will forever remain in the hearts and memories of all those he leaves behind: his daughter Kelly Rae and Steve Guminy and their children Ryder, Stevie Rae and Koston, his son Douglas, stepchildren Jason and Brenda, his brothers Gary, Raymond, Rick, Rob, Eugene and Philip and sisters Bernice Stanyar, Connie Hildebrandt and Marjorie Krizsan and their families.
He was predeceased by his wife Sherry on April 26, 2014, his parents Verne and Frances Parkins and his brothers Ron and Wally.
Blaine loved life and family and enjoyed a long and happy career in the Irrigation Industry in southern Alberta where he has made many long and lasting friendships and associations. His family was his greatest treasure and he will truly be missed and forever loved.
The Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 - Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, March 31st at 11:00 A.M., with Eugene Parkins officiating. A time of fellowship & refreshments will follow. Blaine will then be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined. In memory of Blaine, contributions may be made to Kelly Parkins via Cornerstone Funeral Home.
