MRS. PAULETTE MAE PARENTEAU, beloved wife of Mr. Edward Parenteau of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2011, at the age of 67 years. Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edward, their three sons Scott (Shannon) of Lethbridge, Wayne (Sharon) of Lethbridge and Murray (Carla) of Edmonton. She was the number one fan of her five grandchildren Kevin (Alicia), Lindsey, Brady, Georden and Teigen. Paulette was also survived by her sisters, Jean Anderson, Evelyn (Lorne) Johnson and Sharon (Roger) Regie; her sisters-in-law Eileen, Karen and Maxine as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Lena, brothers John, Dennis, Melvin and brother-in-law Syd. Paulette was born in Quill Lake, SK on May 6, 1944. Later moving to Watson where she met and fell in love with Edward. Together they raised their three boys, moving to Lethbridge in 1970. Paulette worked at Woolco for 20+ years and later worked for We Care for 10+ years.
Paulette’s number one priority was always her family and her time was focused on them. She enjoyed family trips, cheering at sporting events and Friday night dates at the casino. She loved helping others and gave a bed and warm meal to those who needed it. She loved the ocean, enjoyed her time in Mexico, the Dominican and always treasured her trips to Vegas. Paulette will be missed by all her family, friends and those she touched with her kindness. She will forever live on in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329-15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.
