LEONARD "LEN" WILLIAM ORMANDY of Lethbridge, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 66 years.
LEONARD "LEN" WILLIAM ORMANDY of Lethbridge, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 66 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Charlene Ormandy (Roger Reimer) and her children, Brady, Bailee and Levi Ormandy and his spouse of 40 years, Pauline.
Len is also survived by his mother, Gertrude Ormandy, his brothers and sister, Bill (Brenda) Ormandy, Katie (Dennis) Goshinmon and Jim (Sheila) Patterson, many nieces and nephews as well as his very good friend, Wayne Josf.
He was predeceased by his father, Ernest Ormandy, brother Charles and sister Christina.
Len was a "jack of all trades" and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and especially with his grandchildren, supporting them in their many endeavors. In his spare time, Len also enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Throughout his life he was a man of few words but when he spoke, he was sincere and meant what he said.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Len is now in the arms of his loving Saviour.
At Len's request there will be no formal funeral service.

Dear Aunty Pauline and cousin Charlene, I'm so sorry about your lost. There was Jo words that could explain uncle long fingers, he was one of a kind. The most gruff yet the most gentle soul you ever met. He had a way of letting you know he cared and always made you feel at home by either giving you a vacuum to clean or a bed to lay in. I will always miss him and my heart goes out to you two aunty and Charlene. Uncle Len please give my Mom a kiss and hug from me. Till we meet again all my love. Tara

I am so sorry to hear about Len. Like most of us Pattersons he had a gruff way and a loving heart. As a good man and a caring cousin he will be missed. May the good Lord bring comfort to his family in Alberta. Sorry we cannot be there. Until we meet him again, love from New Brunswick.
