October 19, 1954 - September 29, 2010 Maggie was born in Lethbridge at the Galt Hospital in 1954. She grew up in a home filled with love with two brothers and seven sisters. She was and always shall be the baby. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she loved them all. Maggie was an adventurous spirit and saw many parts of the world. Her life was filled with sights and experiences most of us will never know. Her life will be remembered by all for the light she shared and her contagious laughter. Maggie always had a way of bringing joy to those around her and she had many friends who will remember her for her kind spirit. Maggie is survived by one brother, Hans Koenig, & six sisters, Elfrieda Osipow, Anna Kriete, Erika (Horst) Nehren, Trudy Gerard, Rosemarie Dupont and Helen (Ralph) Nicholauson as well as Richard (Valerie) Koenig. Maggie will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. Maggie was predeceased by her loving parents, father Theodore and mother Bernice Koenig, as well as one brother, Edward Koenig and one sister, Hilda Shave. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating.
