MORTON MRS. NORMA RUTH MORTON, beloved wife of Mr. Fred Morton, passed away surrounded by family in Lethbridge at the West Highlands, Good Samaritans on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the age of 89 years. Ruth was born in Calgary, AB, the youngest child of Billy and Annie Bannister.
She is survived by her children Janice (Barry) Arnot of Eckville, AB, Paddy (Neil) Lamond of High River, AB and Jim (Linda) Morton of Lethbridge, AB. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and all eight of her siblings. At Ruth’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 1811-2nd Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 0E8.
