Phil Newton was my partner from 1978 to 1990. I will always remember him for his loving kindness and generosity, his passion for cars and parrots, and his love for me. During the years we lived together Phil and I enjoyed the simple pleasures of gardening, cooking, and going out dancing with our friends. My mother adored him and was so sad when we separated. Phil you were and are an important person in my life. Thank you for coming into my dreams in December to let me know that you had died. I will always carry some of your shine.
So saddened to hear of Phil's passing. We lost track of each other after high school but I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple time in the last number of years. He was a best friend through high school and a treasured friend in our last couple of meetings. The world has lost a very fine soul. My condolences to family and friends.
What a wonderful person Phil was. Always calm, never a bad word from his mouth and a caring person. Nice work, Phil. I will miss you.
I had the privilege of knowing Phil for 37 years. Such a kind man with a big heart. Rest in peace my friend.
