BERNICE DOREEN NEUFELD, beloved wife of the late Abraham Neufeld, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 12th, 2011, at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her sons James (Peggy Ann) and Timothy Neufeld, her grandchildren Sean (Nadine), Phalen, Daniel (Sarah), Isaac (Spring), Guenevere, and her great-grandsons Jubiel, Madai, Soaris, and Tazman. She was predeceased by her loving husband Abe. Bernice was born in her grandmother’s house near Rosthern, SK. She grew up in Carrot River, SK, where she met her husband and upon their marriage moved to the Lethbridge area. It was especially important in her career as a teacher to be able to teach the children how to read and write. She also enjoyed being involved in church activities and making a loving home for her family. She will be sorely missed. A Memorial Service will be held at COALDALE UNITED CHURCH, 2022-18 STREET COALDALE, AB, on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Alec Lawson officiating.
