MRS. WASYLYNA MYCHASIUK (nee Tefledzuk), wife of the late Mr. Wasyl Mchasiuk, of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She is the loving mother of Jerry (Janet) Mychasiuk, Steve (Brenda) Mychasiuk and Mitch Mychasiuk, all of Calgary. She is survived by seven grandchildren Richelle (Aaron) Mychasiuk, Nicole Mychasiuk, Jason Mychasiuk, Mark Mychasiuk, David (Marie) Jurcevic, all of Calgary, Chris (Cheryl) Sarazen, Mike Sarazen, both of Lethbridge, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Nick (Gloria) Tefledzuk of Calgary, and sister Anna Tefledzuk of the Ukraine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her huband Wasyl, daughter Maria, brother Mike, and two sisters Eva and Olga. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gary Sedgwick officiating.
Following cremation she will be laid to rest between her mother and daughter in Mountain View Cemetery. In memory of Wasylyna, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
