Clarke, Muriel

MRS. MURIEL “JEAN” CLARKE, beloved wife of the late John H. Clarke, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 14th, 2024 in Lethbridge, AB, with her family by her side, just 16 days short of her 98th Birthday. She was born June 30, 1926 in Radville, SK.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Garry (Denise), Bill (Amy) and Norm (Yvonne) Clarke all of Lethbridge, AB; her daughter: Bonnie (Jim) Rohatynsky of Yorkton, SK; her grandchildren: Shannon Clarke (Ryan) of Leduc, AB, Jennifer Stierle of Grande Prairie, AB, Jeff (Lisa) Clarke, Tanya (Chad) Jackson and Tyler (Bridgitte) Clarke of Lethbridge, AB, Michael (Alicia) Clarke of Fernie, BC, Gregory Clarke of Lethbridge, AB, Renee (Chase) Gibbon of Okotoks, AB, Joshua (Tori) Rohatynsky of Yorkton, SK and Madison Rohatynsky of Medicine Hat, AB; her great grandchildren Lacey, Riley (Monica), Bailey, Alexis, Kale (Abi), Chase, Ty, Jared, Zachary, Nathan, Taya, Jayda, Tyson, Arya, Arlo, Henry, Monty, Teddy, Lucy, Juliet, and Levi; her great-great grandchildren: Ryan and Reign. She is also survived by her sister Fran Cardiff of Moose Jaw, SK.

Besides her loving husband John, she was predeceased by her son: Allan; her parents: Alof & Edith Anderson; her brother Leonard; and a great granddaughter: Angel Stierle.

Jean loved to sew, bake, play cards, and spend time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH – 2329 15th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Terry Shillington officiating. The Celebration of Life will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Jean’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
