MURIEL FATH

MURIEL FATH, beloved wife of Harvey Fath, of Lethbridge, formerly of Champion, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Besides her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by her children Brian (Kay) of Champion, Dianne (Jim) Isaak of Lethbridge, Wayne (Sharon) of Lethbridge and Gary (Kim) of Lacombe, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Harvey’s family; Helen Strauss, Philip (Kaye) Fath, Robert (Joyce) Fath and Allan (Pat) Fath. She was predeceased by her parents. Muriel was born on February 2, 1928 in Pouce Coupe, B.C., the only child of Stanley and Mary McEachern. She grew up in Lethbridge and Calgary, where she met her husband Harvey Fath; they were married on May 30, 1950. Muriel and Harvey lived on their farm for 40 years before retiring to Lethbridge in November 1991. She enjoyed several pastimes including golf, bowling, knitting, reading and crossword puzzles. A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mr. Cliff Bogdan officiating. Interment to follow at a later date in the Champion Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to a charity of your choice.
