SANDRA HEATHER MUNRO, beloved wife of the late Alexander James Munro of Calgary, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
SANDRA HEATHER MUNRO, beloved wife of the late Alexander James Munro of Calgary, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Sandra is survived by her siblings, Dale (Jim) Hillis, Janice (Hal) Collinson, Mavis (Len) Grenier, Richard (Leonie) Maxwell, Terence (Tracy) Maxwell, Timothy Maxwell, and Mark Savidant, her sister-in-law, Linda (Michael) Murray, close friends Edward Dulkys and Ian (Michiko) Simpson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander, her parents, Ralph Maxwell & Frances Savidant and her sister, Jane Rody.
A Private Family Service will be held in Calgary at a later date, details will be announced once completed.

Sandi was a remarkable woman. We've kept in touch since I took classes with her at U of T and stood up with her at her marriage to Alex. I've followed her career and always valued her intelligence and sense of humor. I will deeply miss our chats and our long friendship. My condolences go out to all her family; you have lost a special person.
