With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of HALEY RAE MULDER (née Madden Weber) after a long, difficult battle with Cancer, on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the young age of 35 years.
Haley leaves behind her cherished six-year-old daughter Emma, her husband John and their pup Ruby, along with her sister Rheo and her mom and dad, Marla & Stan. She will also be loved and remembered by many close aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends and loved ones.
Haley was born in Banff, Alberta at the old hospital on a beautiful snowy morning in 1986. She was born the year of Halley's Comet, thinking she'd be able to see it again in her lifetime, since it only happens every 76 years.
From childhood, Haley's wild and spontaneous spirit avidly kept her involved in the great outdoors. From snowboarding in the Rockies to hiking the coulees in Lethbridge, she loved anything outdoors!
During her battle with Cancer, she discovered a hidden talent, and an artist was born. In the beginning, it was an escape from her diagnosis. Creating wooden landscapes and portraits became a profitable hobby that touched many lives across Canada. She was a talented artist.
A truly unique, full of character and wonderfully kind soul was taken from us all. She will be missed every day and loved forever.
A Celebration of Haley's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 St. S, Lethbridge, Alta. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1 p.m. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.
A Reception will follow at the COALHURST COMMUNITY CENTRE, 527 50 Ave., Coalhurst, Alta. at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Haley's Memory to the Penguin Department at the Calgary Zoo, Haley's and Emma's happy place (https://websales.calgaryzoo.com/buy/zoo-care-donations/)
