MR. ERIC SCHILL, beloved husband of Elaine, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, August 26th at the age of 69.
Besides his loving wife, Eric is survived by his children Ed Schill of Lethbridge, Catherine (Mike) Darnell of Calgary, Brad Schill of Lethbridge, grandson Brenden Schill of Coaldale and special family member, Dan Bergen of Calgary. He is also survived by his sisters Caroline (Garth) Volk of Burdett, AB, Mary Jo (Dale) Rawleigh of Lethbridge and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marion and his brother Scott.
Raised in New Dayton, AB, Eric moved to Lethbridge to start his career as an Insurance Adjuster and became a partner in Carbert Schill Adjusters. After 27 years he left the business to do consulting and finished his working career as a machine operator at Haul-All Equipment. After retiring he spent time camping, fishing and enjoying his grandson. A woodworking craftsman, Eric designed and built many articles of fine furniture for his family. His practical wisdom, integrity and dedication to his family will be remembered by those who knew him.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PATRICK’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Tim Boyle, celebrant. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
