MOORE, VIOLET

On March 10, 2011, VIOLET MOORE, left us at the age of 96 to join the other angels.
She is survived by her loving sons Don (Terry) of Lethbridge, Brian of Edmonton, and her “other daughter” Norma Webb (Frank) of Medicine Hat. She leaves behind her three favorite grandsons, Donald (Linda) of Vernon, Brad (Marcie) of Medicine Hat, and Dave (Deanna) of Edmonton, as well as five great grandsons and two great granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband M.W. (Jim) Moore and her four brothers. She was, until almost the age of 90, an active member of the Daughters of the Nile, active in two choirs and an honoured volunteer for St. Michael’s and the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. Don and Brian would like to thank Terry for her loving, caring and kindness to mom as the end came. A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Austin Fennell, officiating. A private family inurnment will be held prior to the Memorial Service.
