MR. BEN MOEDT, beloved husband of Mrs. Carol “Nellie” Moedt, of Lethbridge, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 72 years. He is the loving father of David (Linda) Moedt of Taber, Diane Moedt (Frank Puffer) of Texas, Robert (Mary Finn) Moedt of Texas and Rodney Moedt of Texas. Grandfather to sixteen grand children and one great grandchild. He is survived by two brothers Bill (Linda) Moedt of Clearwater, AB, John (Erna) Moedt of Taber and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ben was predeceased by his parents Menna and Jan Moedt. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family and pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 40th Avenue North, Lethbridge, on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Hank Van der Woerd officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Wybren Oord, officiating.
