MRS. MARJORIE McLAUGHLIN of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2010 at the age of 94 years.

Mom left us peacefully 10 days short of her 95th birthday. She was born in New Westminster, B.C. and was very athletic, enjoying hiking, swimming and skating. She loved Scottish dancing and won awards in Highland Dancing. Marjorie met James and they were married for 59 years. In 1938 they moved to Lethbridge where they raised 3 children.

Marjorie continued with her love of dancing and music, volunteering for the Kiwanis Music Festival and took part in Scottish dance, clogging and her greatest love and extended family, the LSCO Tai-Chi group.

Marjorie worked at Eatons for many years.

She leaves behind with many fond memories; Jerry (Carolyn), Maureen (Bill), Brenda (Bill), 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411-11th Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Canon James Robinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Tributes may be made to the Kiwanis Music Festival, PO Box 125, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 3Y3, or the LSCO Tai-Chi Group, 500-11th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4G7.
