BEATRICE MAXINE NAY, beloved wife of the late Elliot Nay, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her children George (Kay) Nay of Cardston, Dale (Lois) Nay of Jefferson and Marlene (Alex) Ivanco of Lethbridge, sisters Ethel Anderson and Edith Miller as well as 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents William and Anna Katherine Wood, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Maxine was born in Banff and was raised in Barons and Woolford. There she met and married Elliot and together they moved to Jefferson where they settled on the family farm. They then moved to Lethbridge where they retired 30 years ago. Some of Maxine’s fondest memories were of her time in Rio Grand Valley, her trips to Hawaii and R.V camping. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Flowers graciously declined. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
