I am so sorry to hear of Gail's passing. She was always smiling and kind! That kindness lives on in every member of her family. I am confident that my Dad is up there having a "catch up" with her and they are both laughing! xoxo

I found this poem from our Grade Two memory book, written by Miss Jones, our beloved teacher. This is how she remembered Gail back then:
"Now there's a girl we know as Gail
Always telling some wild tale.
Sometimes about her dog called Night,
Sometimes about her and Dougie's fight.
To Chief Mountain she goes for her holiday.
She hopes she can scare the bears away.
I think that all will agree with me,
When I say that she is quite a "She"
Gail was a beautiful lady that I and many other Coutts bums had the pleasure of having her as a classmate for 12 years. Rest In Peace dear lady.
