MARY ALEXANDROVICH, beloved wife of the late Fabian Alexandrovich, passed away at the Edith Cavell Nursing Home with her family at her side on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Mary was born on a homestead in Saskatchewan and raised and educated in Coaldale where she met and married her husband Fabian. They lived in several small towns in Southern Saskatchewan and Alberta before retiring in Lethbridge in 1974. Mary was a very active and caring person with a wonderful sense of humour. She loved gardening, quilting, reading, playing cards and traveling. She devoted many years to volunteering with the 4H Club, Southland Nursing Home and Meals on Wheels and was a member of the CWL. Her life was centered around her family and many friends. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and her grandchildren. Her eight great grandchildren; Abi, Will, Jack, Andrew, Sarah, Ian, Bijou and Aiden had a very special place in her heart. Mary is survived by her daughter Gladys (John) Reive and son Robert (Sharon), eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, son-in-law Calvin Agnoo, sister Rose Zalaski, brother Michael Patapoff, sister-in-law Myrtle Patapoff and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Fabian, infant son Ronald, daughter Jeanette, parents Michael and Fanny, brothers George, Bill and John, sister Florence and sister-in-law Dorothy. Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. In memory of Mary, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
