Marinus enjoyed a lifelong career in trucking, owning Mogus Transport for 35+ years. He was a hard-working provider for his family. When he was not on the road, he enjoyed making memories with his family camping and skiing. In his spare time, he loved to golf, and loved camping with his wife and grandkids, and watching their sports games. His positive “life is good” attitude was evident to all, and he lived a life of faith in the Lord. He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.

A Funeral Service will be held at GRACE REFORMED CHURCH, 1402 – 8 Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Paul Van Stralen officiating. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Marinus’ obituary on the Cornerstone website.

Jetty and family….please accept our heartfelt sympathy at this difficult time. We remember Marinus as a positive, smiling, and gracious guy. It was always good to meet up with him, even though our meetings were often brief…at a truck stop or on a rest from his driving. You will miss him so, but we pray that you take comfort in knowing that his suffering is over. We pray you will feel the comfort and strength in these coming days and weeks when your grief is so raw.

We are so sorry to hear of your husbands death, Marinus. Death is not a thing like to hear about. It seems there have been too many deaths either in our families or good friends lately. Sending our love to you and your family.
