Darrell, Rod and families: We were so shocked and saddened at hearing the news of your Mom's passing. A very special lady - I have fond memories of her when we lived in Lethbridge as kids. It was so nice to have seen her - and you boys too - last June at my Mom's funeral; unfortunately we were unable to get away to attend Aunt Marie's. Please know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Best wishes, Gord & Val
I was very saddened to hear the news of your mother's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. I wanted to share with you a poem I received when my brother Rudy passed away that was written for me by a close friend. "When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears, and hug sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile, and for my sake and in my name, live on and do all things the same, feed not on your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways, reach out your hand in comfort and cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near, and never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky, do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not Die." Best Regards, Jack Van Rijn
