MARGIT RACH

MARGIT RACH of Coaldale, beloved wife and forever sweetheart and Sonnschein, of 60 years, to Stan, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on December 26, 2013 at the age of 80. Margit was born in Pilisborosjeno (Weindorf) Hungary, on October 2, 1933. Margit and family immigrated to Canada in 1956. Margit was a hard working woman who helped everyone and enjoyed spending time with family. She worked so hard, was an exceptional mother, selfless, sacrificed and denied herself so much for her children and her husband. Dad was quick to tell us that while she loved us kids all equally and as much as a mother could love, she loved him the most. Margit instilled in her children the loving and nurturing European traditions and family values that will continue to live through generations to come. Margit was always thinking about others and enjoyed life and sharing stories with her children and friends. She enjoyed gardening and her flower garden flourished under her care. She will be sadly missed and will know that her memory, love, kindness and spirit will live on through those that knew and loved her. Besides her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Margit is survived by her 4 children and their families: Margit and Doug, Stanley and Judy, Cathy and Stewart and Monica and David, grandchildren Caylee, Brett, Madelaine, Mischa, David and Emily, and great grandchildren Ethan and Nylah. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many many friends. Margit is predeceased by her parents Roza and Johann Halluk, as well as her younger brothers and sisters. A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. with Deacon Ray & Ellen Wagner officiating. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at ST. AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1513 - 23rd Avenue, Coaldale, AB. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Thomas Vadassery Celebrating.
