Marcia Aleta Seely, the youngest of four girls (sisters June, Doreen and Beryl) was born on November 7, 1943 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Her family, Charles Nelson “Nels” Stephens and mother Ina Alexandria Stephens, moved to Lethbridge when Marcy was two years old.

Marcy attended school in Lethbridge, graduating from the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute. It was in high school that she met Brent Seely. That meeting led to marriage on August 18, 1962. They celebrated 62 years together in August of last year.
The marriage was blessed with the birth of a daughter, Alana Lee Seely. Alana has two sons, Kayden and Logan, both very special to Marcy.
Marcy spent many years working for Boyd’s Pharmacy and Carleton Cards in Lethbridge.
Cremation is entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home. A Come and Go Reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

Having known Brent for many years it is only with special reverence that we met Marcia in recent years at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre. We offer our deepest condolences to Brent and his family.
