Mrs. Antonetta Lubbers passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 at the age of 97 years.
The late Mrs. Lubbers was born in The Netherlands on July 2nd, 1918. She was predeceased by her husband Harm Albert on November 7th, 1991.
She came to Canada with her husband and family in September 1959 and resided in Lethbridge and Coaldale. She is survived by her children Herman (Joan) Lubbers of Stony Plain, Alberta, Harry (Linda) Lubbers of Coaldale, Alberta and Alive (Henry-deceased) Medemblik of Hamilton, Ontario. She also leaves to grief her grandchildren William Lubbers, Albert (Liza) Lubbers, Carol (Hemant) Prakash, Keith (Coralee) Lubbers, Lloyd Lubbers and Renee (Shane) Hofsink, as well as her great-grandchildren Maysen, Zachery, Navneet, Shanti, Taylor, Jordynn, Kelsey, Makayla, Jaycen, Braden, Hannah and Fallyn.
Relatives and friends are welcome to offer their condolences to the family at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
A Memorial Service will be held at TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 - 40th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB., on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Hank VanderWoerd officiating. A Private Graveside ceremony will take place in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers for those who wish, memorial donations in Antonetta's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
