Lorraine was born in Estuary Saskatchewan, and raised in Blindloss, Alberta. She met Peter in Oyen and he swept her away to Banff to get married in 1964. They lived in Calgary, where Cameron was born, then moved to Edmonton, where Kim was born. They moved to Lethbridge in 1976, where Peter and Lorraine both worked at Telus until their retirement.
Lorraine enjoyed her walks and bicycling in the coulees with her dogs. After losing Peter, she kept busy and active with her grandkids. She took them on many adventures in her campervan. She loved going to T.O.P.S., spending time with friends, doing puzzles, playing darts and card games and her murder mysteries.
We would like to thank the Palliative Unit staff at St. Michael’s Health Centre for their ongoing care, as well as to the first responders for their compassion and assistance.

Your mom was an amazing woman, a great friend to our mom and she will be deeply missed. We will miss seeing her out on her walks with Maggie. Losing a mother is one of the hardest things to go through in life. Please know that our heartfelt sympathies are with you during this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss, Lorraine will be missed. We had lots of laughs as we both struggled with weight loss.
Dear Kim, Steve and family and Cameron, Sarena and family. Your Mom (Lorraine) was an amazing woman and had a heart of gold. Our deepest condolences to all of you and our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love from Danny Slovak and family from Wrentham ❤️
