LIONEL C. SINCENNES, beloved husband of Lauraine Sincennes, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his children, Rita (Argirios) Efthimiou, Conrad (Rhonda) Sincennes, Norman (Diane) Sincennes, Marie-Ann (David) Takeda and Jackie Slezina, grandchildren, Stella (Mike) Abdul-Hadi, Kosta, Frank Efthimiou, Crystal, Kevin Sincennes, Santina, Graysen Sincennes, Devin, Nikki, Brett Takeda, Tony and Austin Slezina, brothers & sisters Jeanne (Oliver) Peltier, Raymond, Delores (Leo) Wingerter, Noella (Scotty) Parks, Gerard (Marlene), Yvonne (Bob) Nelson, Alida (Dan) Genn, Beatrice Gibson and Roger. He was predeceased by his parents, 4 infant children, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Lionel was born and raised in Val Marie, SK and married Lauraine Fiset on November 24, 1954. They moved to Alberta in 1956 where they raised their family. Lionel worked for many years as a welder and millwright until health problems forced him into early retirement. He had many passions including horses, auction sales, hunting, but his greatest pride was his family. A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1513 - 23rd Avenue, Coaldale on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Wilbert Chin Jon Celebrant.
