LINDA JOLAYNE MURRAY, of McNally, passed away from a short battle with Lung Cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the age of 77 years.
She was born on January 24, 1949 in Magrath, AB, to Don and Berniece Meldrum.
Linda dedicated her life to her family and the family farm, embodying the strength and dedication of a true farm wife. She worked tirelessly and found joy in the everyday rhythms of farm life. She had a gift for baking, a green thumb in the garden, and a steady hand at the sewing machine – always creating something for the people she loved.
Linda is survived by her loving husband Bruce Murray; children: Tricia Hilgersom (late Ron Hilgersom), and Wesley Murray (Tracy Iwan); beloved grandchildren: Ty Hilgersom (Amy Cook), and Haylee Hilgersom (Eric Van Ee); brothers: Dean Meldrum, Bryce (Judy) Meldrum; and in-laws: Jane Murray, Ian Murray, and Brian Murray (Sandy Murray) as well as beloved nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Linda will remember her hard work and the love she poured into her home and family every single day.
