My depest condolences. I drove in a car pool Gerry 40 plus years ago from Lower Sackville, NS. His son was a great sifi artist. I slso worked with Dave Brown on corporate audit. His wife, Betty, was much nicer, haha. Seriously, again my thoughts are with your family.
Doris.saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. Glad we had the opportunity to have a brief visit with him at the Botwood day dinner. Elaine and I remember him when he first joined the bank. We pray God's grace to sustain you and family at this difficult time.
We were shocked and so sorry to hear of Gerry's sudden passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to Doris and his family. Have many fond memories of Gerry from our working days in Nfld. and always admired his calm demeanour . He took credit with saving Audrey's life in 1973 when I got transferred from Corner Brook to Halifax and was taking the ferry at Port au Basque. We were not married yet and she wanted to see me off so Gerry volunteered to drive to PAB and bring her back to Corner Brook, after I sailed away. He jokingly said that Audrey would have walked off the end of the pier if he hadn't stopped her. Rest in Peace Gerry. You will be missed.
I'm sorry I could not be with you. My thoughts and prayers are with and for you.
So sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. Gerry was a good friend and mentor, and always knew the right things to say when you needed a "pick me up" - an ultimate professional who led by his wise counsel and by example. As Gerry would often say, 'Keep your chin up, Pal'. Our sincere sympathy to Doris and family. Roy & Marilyn

With deep sadness and sincere love we are sorry for your loss! Gerry was a very special man. I've had the privilege to cut his hair for over 20 years. He always had an encouraging word and a listening ear when he came to visit. His love and care for Doris goes beyond words. He loved her very much! The last words he spoke to me after his hair cut was 'I like it when Doris' hair is a bit too long; it makes her look sassy'...lol Your parents loved our children! They've seen them grow and always asked about their lives! I've always enjoyed hearing about you all as well. Trips, birthdays, births, engagements, baby sitting Derek's boys, family visits etc. Gerry will be greatly missed! He touched many people's lives! We take comfort knowing he loved Jesus! Praying God will comfort and surround you with His Love all at this time. Hugs to you all! Please give Doris and hug and a kiss! Ron and Tamara Jethro Isaac Hannah

Those we love and lose are together with us in out hearts and forever with us in memory. For Fred, Bob and I, Gerry was our fourth Brother. We loved, laughed and grew up together. Gerry will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Someone as special as Gerry will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts for as long as we live. Love to All, Jack and Ina
