WILLIAM PERSLEY of Picture Butte, beloved husband of Dorene Persley passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Besides his loving wife Dorene, he is survived by his son Bill (Linda) and their children Chad, Kim, Jessica, Tynan; son Ron (Marla) and their children David and Brendan; daughter Loraine (Gordon) Hubbell and their children Lyndsey, Garrett (Michelle) and their son Anden; daughter Fae (Pat) McCune and their children Carly (Beau) Filkowski and Todd; daughter Sherri (Darwin) Skretting and their children Alexi and Breanne.

MRS. JEAN WILLIAMS (nee Thompson), beloved wife of the late Mr. Wes Williams of Medicine Hat, AB, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Jean was pre-deceased by her loving husband Wes, of 50 years, in 2006. In passing, Jean leaves her beloved family who will cherish her memory forever. Jean is survived by her children Paul (Liz) Williams of Thornbury, Ontario and his children Jeff (Lori) and Michael, George (Joan) Williams of Camrose, Alberta, and their children Rick and Derek, Gerry (Karen) Williams of Petawawa, Ontario and their children Sarah and Cody, Teena (Brian) Price of Lethbridge, Alberta and their daughter Brianne (Brat), Ryan (Carmen) Surbey of Edmonton, Alberta and four great grandchildren Tyson, Liam, Hayley and Tate.

DENNIS MERVYN WILLIAMS, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Judith Williams, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 73 years. At Dennis' request, no formal funeral service will be held.

WILLIAMS JOAN ALBERTA (née King) February 23rd, 1920 to September 7th, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother JOAN / Nan at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday September 7th. Joan was predeceased by her husband Jack of 54 years on February 9th, 1998. She is survived by her two sons Ross (Deb) and Rick, her four granddaughters; Bonnie (Kevin) James, Shannon (Ian) Moors, Kelley, Keri, great-grandson Aiden James, brother Jack (Ellen) King, sister-law Helen Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.

George is survived by his sister, Ann Myrholm, his sister-in-law, Allie, and his step-sister, Minerva. He also leaves to mourn his passing, his children: John (Tracy), Richard (Heather), Kevin (Jill), Triggvi, Kirsten, and Oli; his grandchildren: Emma, Christian, Eden, and Liam; his nieces and nephews: Greg, Brad, Ruth, Karen, Butch, Lance, Lorinda, and Karen.

HAZEL HELEN WILLIAMSON, beloved wife of the late Stanley R. Williamson, passed away suddenly at the Golden Acres Lodge on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 91 years. Hazel is survived by two sons; Larry (Adora) of Lethbridge, Myron (Gerry) of Medicine Hat; four grandchildren, Kevin Williamson of Calgary, Teresa (Aaron) Jakubec of Calgary, Trevor (Melanie) Williamson of Medicine Hat, Shawn Williamson of Salmo, B.C., and one great-grandchild, Kyla of Medicine Hat.

Sept.3 1925-Jan. 14 2013 Willis was born in Victoria, BC, the youngest and only boy of 5 children. His youth was spent on his family’s farm in Donavon, SK and this is where part of his heart always stayed. He loved the farm. After attending Normal School in Saskatoon, Willis married Edna Letrud of Young, SK on July 12 1947. They resided in Naicam, SK where they both taught school. They moved to Lethbridge in 1956 and Willis taught at Gilbert Paterson for 4 years.

WILLMS, MARGARET

MARGARET WILLMS, mother, nurse, midwife and Mennonite Central Committee worker, died on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Coaldale Hospital after a battle with cancer at the age of 77 years. Margaret was born on June 21, 1933 near Crystal Lake, Alberta. She was the eighth of Abram and Susanna Willms’ eleven children. A midwife estimated her birth weight at 12 pounds. From the beginning, Margaret seemed unafraid to be uniquely herself.

WILLY FRIEDRICH ERNST MOHRMANN

MR. WILLY MOHRMANN of Shaughnessy, beloved husband of Selma, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Willy was born in Crivitz Deu, Germany on August 5, 1928 and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He resided in Shaughnessy at the time of his passing. Upon arriving in Canada Willy worked as a hired hand on various farms, drilling for water and doing other work around the farms and at schnoor's Garage.

WILMA GAIL WINTER, beloved wife of Wayne Winter passed away in Lethbridge on September 30, 2009 at the age of 66. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her sons Hal, of Lethbridge and Glen (Kerry) of Medicine Hat and her two precious grandchildren Lindsay and Ben. Wilma was the daughter of Miriam and George Santa. Her paternal grandmother delivered her the night of a great blizzard, January 22, 1943 in 117 District near Milk River.
