MR. WESLEY SOLBERG, beloved husband of Mrs. Lois Solberg of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Besides his loving wife Lois, he is survived by 6 children; Wendy Solberg of Shaughnessy, AB, Brian Solberg of Port Moody, B.C., Rick (Alenka) Solberg, Susan (Jack) Kramer, Brenda Solberg and Florence (Mel) Collier, all of Lethbridge. Wesley is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

FREDERICK WESTERSON, beloved husband of Pat Westerson, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care on Monday, August 13, 2007 at the age of 72 years. He is the loving father of Conrad (Lori) of Lethbridge and Darrin (Debbie) of Lethbridge and the cherished grandfather of Ryan, Shaun, Shaelin, Dylan and Jolane of Lethbridge. He is also survived by one brother Robert (Lucille) of Rimbey and one sister Reverend Florence McDonald of Calgary.

MR. ROBERT WESTLAND beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Westland of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife Evelyn, Robert is survived by his son Richard, step daughter Janice Pollock and daughter-in-law Louise Westland of Medicine Hat as well as by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his sister Mary Spiering of Redcliffe and brother William Westland of Medicine Hat; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

On Monday, February 23, 2015 VERA INEZ WHEELDON (NEE TRATHEN) passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She is survived by her son Darryl, daughters Dorothy (Barry), Barb (John), daughter-in-law Pauline, grandchildren Brenna (Scott), Jim (Tanya), Sean, Jillian (Rob), Kerri (Fran), Kaitlin, Emily (Jesse), Casey, great-grandchildren Chloyee, Riley, Kael, Seth, Duncan and Analyse. Vera was predeceased by her husband Robin, son Ross and daughter-in-law Kathy. She was the last of her family, having been predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son ALDWIN WHITE QUILLS (JR.) on Monday February 4, 2008. Junior as he was usually called, passed away at home on the Blood Indian Reserve in the morning hours with the rising of the new Sun at the age of 24 years old. Junior was born on January 27, 1984 at the Cardston Municipal Hospital.

JAMES BRIAN (WHITEY) WHITE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Annie; his siblings, Mollie, Peggy, Betty, Billie and John. He will be missed by his niece, Maureen King (Nina) who cared for him for many years and his remaining siblings, Eileen, Kathleen and Joan. He will also be missed by his niece Ang, who along with his sister Joan, gave so much of their time and loving care during his last years.

KENT J. WHITNEY, beloved son of Shirley Whitney, of Lethbridge, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the age of 42 years. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his brothers Carlin (Lori) Whitney of Lethbridge and Darren (Bonnie) Whitney of Calgary, nieces Kate and Samantha of Calgary, grandmother Anna Kambeitz of Lethbridge as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Murray.

WICKEND, KENNETH LARRY

KENNETH LARRY WICKEND, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the age of 60 years. Ken started his life with a little bit of fanfare - he was the New Year’s Baby of 1952. He continued his life as the middle of three - an older brother and younger sister. During his school years Ken played saxophone in the school band, as well as in the Kiwanis Band.
