MICHAEL DAVID VAN LIERE, beloved son of Peter and Camelia (Sturz) Van Liere, was born on December 16, 2004 in Lethbridge and went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the age of 12 years. Along with his parents, Michael is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his siblings, Timothy Van Liere and his daughter Aurora, Christina (Blair) Sperling, Matthew and Naomi Van Liere; grandparents, John and Nellie Van Liere of Coaldale, and Constantin and Florica Sturz of Oradea, Romania, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and niece.

LORRAINE VOGEL passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on September 17. A funeral service will be held at the FOREMOST COMMUNITY HALL on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 pm. For those who wish, memorial donations in Lorraine's name may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta.

It is with heavy hearts, that we say goodbye to DAVID G. VREDEGOOR. He was a son, brother, brother-in law, uncle, great uncle and friend. Besides his mother Dora Vredegoor, he will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Marion (Blaine) Pontarolo and Linda (Richard) Kremenik, his brothers Marty (Colleen), Brian and Patrick (Sue) Vredegoor. Also left to cherish David's memory are his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles in Canada & Holland as well as numerous friends especially Wayne Clauson, Jocelyn and Randy Blackmore and Bill Hand.

Pieter (Peter) van der Velde, passed away in his home suddenly on August 12, 2017 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jean van der Velde (nee Bambrough). Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda van der Velde, Gerard van der Velde, Pete van der Velde, Mona Wauters (Philip), and grandchildren, Brody, Emily and Sadie Wauters, Annalise and Josh van der Velde, as well as their mother, Julie van der Velde.

DON VAN CAMP, beloved husband of Kathy Leavitt, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Along with his wife, he is lovingly remembered by his children, Brady (Kendra), Clayton (Mikayla) and Jessie (Jordan) Van Camp, stepchildren Marty (Becky) and Chad (Jada) Leavitt and their families, brother Dana (Hilda) and their children, David and Adam Van Camp as well as nephew Chris Quantock.

It is with sadness, but gentle relief that we announce that the Lord has called home our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, IDA PIETERDINA VENHUIS (nee VanHuis) at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 92 years. Ida was born in Holland in 1924, where she lived her childhood and where she later met her beloved husband Harry. Ida was a woman of solid belief and a tenacious spirit which helped her through many difficult times in her life: immigrating to Canada in 1951 with two small children, where she did not know the people or the language; dealing with the care giving to the whole family when her young husband had a heart attack and subsequent heart problems; working through the pain of sometimes debilitating arthritis.

LAWRENCE JOHN VAN EGMOND passed from this life to eternity on May 6th, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Lawrence was born in Lethbridge, Alberta to Janette and Casey Van Egmond on January 3rd, 1949. He was the second child of a family of five.

Mary Anne Vanderpyl (Smits) passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a brief illness on January 19, 2017 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. She was 60 years old. Mary Anne is survived by Henry, her beloved husband of 39 1/2 years, her six children and two grandchildren: Tim (Jodie) and their boys Grayson and Calder, David, Paul (Vickie), Daniel (Danika), Rebecca and Rachel. She is also survived by her two brothers Arie (Donna) Smits and Peter Smits.
