The family of MARILYN MILDRED VAN LOO (nee Dahl) announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Born in 1928, Marilyn grew up in Standard, Alberta. The Dahl family moved to Drumheller where she met and married Jim Van Loo in 1948. They moved to Lethbridge where Jim established his business, Van's TV, and they built a home and raised their children. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Laura Mae and Christian Dahl of Strathmore, and her sisters Beverly Holmes of Victoria, Carolyn Livingstone of Aldergrove BC, and Shirley Williams of Roseburg, Oregon.

CHRISTIAAN "CHRIS" VANDER WAL passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at the age of 68 years after a short battle with cancer. Chris is survived by his daughter Sharon (Dave) Nieuwenhuis of Coaldale, sons Christopher (Kim) of Airdrieand Keith (Darlene) of Calgary. Chris also had 9 grandchildren - Joshua, Nathaniel, Sean, Sara, James, Anna, Matthew, Christianne and Bethelyn - and had numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years Bess, his parents Gerard and Ybeltje Vander Wal.

EVERT VELDHUIZEN, beloved husband of Willemyntje "Meiny" Veldhuizen (née Vander Brink) of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Evert is survived by his loving children, Jennie (Gill) Hakze of Lethbridge, Willy (Wendy) Veldhuizen of Coaldale, Arie Veldhuizen (Rhea Thur) of Lethbridge and Evelyn (Tim) Donkersgoed of Readymade, as well as his ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Len Rollingson of Lethbridge and numerous relatives in Canada and Holland.

JOHN VAN KEULEN, beloved husband of Jenny Van Keulen, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 30, 2018 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. A Memorial Service will be held at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Paul VanStralen officiating. John will be laid to rest at a Private Family Interment at Mountain View Cemetery.

ARTHUR "ART" CORNELIUS VAN PELT, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Art is survived by his loving children, James (Jan) Van Pelt of Strathmore, John (Stephanie) Van Pelt of Lethbridge, Richard (Bernice) Van Pelt of Lethbridge and Patricia (Jeremy) Lane of Crowsnest Pass, as well as his 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

JOHN VANDER HEYDEN, beloved husband of Mary Vander Heyden, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the age of 85 years. John was born September 12, 1932 in Gemert, Netherlands. The second son of Leonardus and Hendrica van der Heijden, John was raised on a farm in Holland with his six brothers and three sisters. Of these, he is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Leo, Piet, and Martien, and his sisters Diny and Christine, whose spouses Tiny, Leentje, Wim, and Theo, are still with us.

BOUKJE BESS VANDER WAL (nee DeHaan), beloved wife of Chris Vander Wal passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at the age of 68 years after a short battle with cancer. Bess was predeceased by her parents Bindert and Tina DeHaan. Also, predeceased by her in-laws Gerrard and Ybeltje Vander Wal, brother in-laws Bert Vander Wal, John Vander Wal, Henry Vander Wal, sisters-in-law Lena Koiter and Ann Vander Wal.

HENDRIKJE "HENNY" VAN FAASSEN peacefully left us to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Henny will be lovingly remembered by her children: Diane (Cory) Vanderleest of Sooke, B.C., Jackie (Eldon) Konynenbelt of Nobleford, and Art Van Faassen of Nobleford. She will also be remembered by her grandson Mitchell (Kristie) Vanderleest and their children Austin and Jayden of Sooke, BC; granddaughter Roslyn Vanderleest (Justin Clark) and their children Logan, Tysen, Benjamin, and Mia of Sooke, BC; grandson Kyle (Tracy) Konynenbelt of Nobleford and granddaughter Denae Konynenbelt of Toronto.

FRANK VANDE LIGT, beloved husband of Toni Vande Ligt, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Besides his loving wife of 60 years, he is survived by his children Bill (Carolann), Art, Pat (Mark) Flexhaug, Karen (Frank) Blote, Arlene (Hector) Arroyo, and Diane (Dick) Smit as well as 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

JOHANNA "ANN" CORNELIA VANDER BEEK, beloved wife of Anton Vander Beek of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Besides her husband Anton, she is lovingly remembered by her brother, Leen (Mies) Kayen, sister Corrie Hartenberg and brother Kees (Nel) Kayen, all of the Netherlands; sister-in-law, Frances Vander Beek and Nolda Smeding of Lethbridge, AB, Joan (John) Antonides of Penticton, BC and Nettie (Lloyd) Westra of Edmonton, AB.
