VASEK BETTY JEAN "BJ" VASEK, beloved wife of David Vasek, of Lethbridge passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, on Monday, December 8th, 2014 at the age of 71 years. She is the loving mother of one son, Steve (Laura) Shipley of Edmonton She was predeceased by 2 brothers Ken and Allan Halvorsen. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. MRS. ERMA VEER, of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013 at the age of 73 years. She is the loving mother of Tom Dyck of Lethbridge. She is also survived by her brother Helmut Jannert and Sister Erna Epp. Erma was predeceased by her husband Jake Veer and her son Jerry Dyck. Erma Veer (Nee Jannert) was born February 20th, 1940 in Fuerstenwerder, Saporshje, Ukraine.

RICHARD 'ALLEN' VELDHUIS beloved husband of Margaret 'Joan' Veldhuis, of Nobleford, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 67 years. He is the loving father & grandfather of: Roxane (Dale) Erickson & family, Keith (Jackie) Veldhuis & family, and Kevin (Kim) Veldhuis & family, 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters: Johanna Wilson, Dorothy May & Bernice (Bill) Hofman and numerous nieces and nephews.

ANNE VELDMAN, beloved wife of the late Bruin Veldman, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Anne was born on April 28, 1928 in Emmen, Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Most of her years were spent in the Crowsnest Pass where Mom and Dad raised their children, before moving to Lethbridge.

MRS. WIECHERTJE (WIEK) VELDMAN, beloved wife of the late Hendrik Veldman, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Wiek is survived by her children Ed (Carol), Pete, John (Sylvia), Rob (Heidi), Margaret (Colin) Senneker, Alice (Henry) Prosper, Tim (Mara), Marilyn (Sid) Tams, 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Femmie Slagter, of Calgary, Jean Hendriks, Harm (Henny) Veldman and Klaas (Teuny) Veldman, of Lethbridge.

LUDOLF JAN VELTING, beloved husband of Theadora Velting, of Coaldale, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Sunday, June 19th, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Ludolf was born in Niehove, Holland. He was employed at the Lethbridge Research Centre for many years. A private family service will be held at a later date.
