The 91-year-old passed away following a brief illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital, very near the spot where his longtime wife and inseparable partner, Margaret Richards, had predeceased him three months earlier.
WILLIAM "BADGER BILL" THIELEN, passed away from a heart attack in Calgary, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 58 years.
Bill is survived by his son Chris; siblings David (Becky), Neil (Yvette), Milton, Nadine (Kevin Bolz) and his mother Maryetta. He was predeceased by his son Jon and his father Pudge.
After high school, Bill joined the army and spent ten years in 1 PPCLI. After the army, he did lawn, yard and cement work.
