DERWYN ALFRED SUTTON passed away on Thursday January 2, 2014. He faced his battle with respiratory illness in the same manner that he approached life, with forthrightness and gratitude despite setbacks. He is predeceased by his mother Velva and his father William. He leaves behind his son, Matthew; his daughter-in-law Sarah and his three granddaughters: Paige, Cedar and Adele. He leaves behind his brothers and their wives and his nephews/nieces: Glenn and Sharon (Christopher, Shawn and Greg), Bev and Ann (Billy and Dina), Tom and Francis (Randy and Michelle).

SWAILES - LOIS IRENE SWAILES, dearly loved wife of the late Ed Swailes, passed away in Lethbridge on October 4, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Lois was born on July 13, 1926 in Saskatchewan, but spent most of her childhood in Picture Butte. Lois was an accomplished pianist, having obtained a teaching certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She graduated from the Galt Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 with the Gold Medal of Proficiency and went on to work as a nurse until her children were born.

Anita was predeceased by her husband, Roy Albert Swanson, her daughter Barbara Rae (Swanson) Rempel, her parents Murray and Evangeline (Elliott) Young, her brothers Keith, Errol, and Dawson Young, and her sister Norma (Young) Fischer. Anita is survived by her brother Gerald Young, sister Denise (Young) Edmonds, children Brenda Swanson, Paul (Lenny) Swanson, Ted (Kim) Swanson, David (Carol) Swanson, Rebecca (Kyle) Swanson, her daughter-in-law Lynn Swanson, son-in-law Dan Rempel, and her grandchildren Tera Swanson, Stephanie Swanson, Alexander Swanson, Curtis Rempel, Katrina Rempel, Lauren Swanson, Kerstin Swanson, Bryce Swanson, Nikolas Swanson, Ryan Swanson, Karmen Rempel, and Gabrielle Swanson.

She is survived by her daughter Helen Berze of Lethbridge, grandsons Alan (Susan) Berze of Hamilton, ON and Ken Berze of Calgary, great grandchildren; Tara (Drew) Berze of Toronto, ON, Bryna Berze (Justin Cork) of Calgary and Aaron Berze of Calgary as well as great grandson Carson Patton of Toronto.

MS. DONNA JEAN SZABO, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Therese Villa on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Donna is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Erin (Gerb) Hart, Debbie Werk (George Androkovich) and Kelly Szabo (Paul Kipnik); six grandchildren, Jen and Andrew, Michele and Jeff (Cheena) and Amber and Daniel (Britany); and seven great-grandchildren, Zane, Matilda, Nevaeh, Jerzee, Lyric, Leah and Damon. Other people that were dear to Donna's heart were Bob Hughes (common-law husband of Janice Firth) and Ryan Process (father of four of her great-grandchildren).
