EDWARD MICHAEL SVIHURA, passed away at home on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his sons Steve (Sonja) and Michael (Tina) Svihura and his long time friend Jean Christensen. At Ed's request, there will be no formal funeral service.

SWAILES - LOIS IRENE SWAILES, dearly loved wife of the late Ed Swailes, passed away in Lethbridge on October 4, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Lois was born on July 13, 1926 in Saskatchewan, but spent most of her childhood in Picture Butte. Lois was an accomplished pianist, having obtained a teaching certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She graduated from the Galt Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 with the Gold Medal of Proficiency and went on to work as a nurse until her children were born.

(MARY) ANITA SWANSON of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away with her family at her side on May 8, 2016. Anita was predeceased by her husband, Roy Albert Swanson, her daughter Barbara Rae (Swanson) Rempel, her parents Murray and Evangeline (Elliott) Young, her brothers Keith, Errol, and Dawson Young, and her sister Norma (Young) Fischer. Anita is survived by her brother Gerald Young, sister Denise (Young) Edmonds, children Brenda Swanson, Paul (Lenny) Swanson, Ted (Kim) Swanson, David (Carol) Swanson, Rebecca (Kyle) Swanson, her daughter-in-law Lynn Swanson, son-in-law Dan Rempel, and her grandchildren Tera Swanson, Stephanie Swanson, Alexander Swanson, Curtis Rempel, Katrina Rempel, Lauren Swanson, Kerstin Swanson, Bryce Swanson, Nikolas Swanson, Ryan Swanson, Karmen Rempel, and Gabrielle Swanson.

ARLENE SWAREN passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the age of 70 years. At Arlene's request, no formal funeral service will be held.

MICHAEL GAVIN SWATSKE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 at the age of 42 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced once completed.

Aa Sootsiki Staki - 2 offerings Sylvia passed away suddenly on July 23, 2008 in Lethbridge at the age of 67 years. Sylvia was born on March 23, 1941 at the Blood Indian Hospital in Cardston. Predeceased by her husband Dennis Steele, Survived by her companion Leonard Bull Child. Her siblings were Lynden L.T.S (deceased), Ditty (Wilma) L.T.S, Leonard L.T.S, Marie L.T.S (deceased), Adopted son Husky Wells. Grandchildren Nathan (Jonah) L.

MRS. ANNA SZABO, beloved wife of the late Mr. Joseph Szabo of Lethbridge, formerly of Taber, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the age of 100 years. She is survived by her daughter Helen Berze of Lethbridge, grandsons Alan (Susan) Berze of Hamilton, ON and Ken Berze of Calgary, great grandchildren; Tara (Drew) Berze of Toronto, ON, Bryna Berze (Justin Cork) of Calgary and Aaron Berze of Calgary as well as great grandson Carson Patton of Toronto.

MS. DONNA JEAN SZABO, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Therese Villa on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Donna is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Erin (Gerb) Hart, Debbie Werk (George Androkovich) and Kelly Szabo (Paul Kipnik); six grandchildren, Jen and Andrew, Michele and Jeff (Cheena) and Amber and Daniel (Britany); and seven great-grandchildren, Zane, Matilda, Nevaeh, Jerzee, Lyric, Leah and Damon. Other people that were dear to Donna's heart were Bob Hughes (common-law husband of Janice Firth) and Ryan Process (father of four of her great-grandchildren).

MR. JOSEPH (JOE) SZABO, 78, beloved husband of the late Anna Szabo, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on July 22, 2010. Joe is survived by his son Joe Jr. and his wife Lisa and their two sons Barrett, and Kyle. Joe is also survived by his sister Margaret, his in-laws Irene Upton, Dan and Eva Deringer, Anna Nagy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, both here and in Hungary.

ELIZABETH SZAKAL, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Chester Szakal passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by two daughters; Eva Benis of Shaughnessy, and Judy Baumann of Lethbridge, one son; Joe Szakal of Lethbridge, granddaughter Eva Paul, three grandsons; Louie Benis, Troy Baumann and Brad Baumann as well as ten great grand children. Elizabeth and her family came to Canada in 1957 and resided in Lethbridge, she was a big fan of playing bingo and enjoyed a few trips to Vegas with her daughter Eva.
