MR. EDWIN “ED” L. STEGAN passed away peacefully on September 12, 2012 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his wife Laura, his children Jim (Maureen) Stegen, Wendy (John) Laughington, Sandra (Ted) Ashmore, stepchildren Theresa (Joe) Prozniak, Brian (Lynn) Winters, brother Howard and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Jessie in 1992, grandson Jason Stegen, stepson Roy Winters, sisters Sylvia Melsness and Irene Knutson, and brothers Freemont, Bruce, Jack and Dale.

Stephanie Margaret Charlesworth, beloved wife of the late Arthur (Art) Charlesworth, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the age of 91. Stephanie was born on June 9th 1922 on a farm north of Foremost to Kenneth and Jean Dorren. In the late 1920's, Stephanie's family moved to the farm just northwest of Picture Butte. There she attended Twelve Mile School and Picture Butte High School.

Mrs. Stephanie Louise Lanham, beloved wife of the late Mr. William Ernest Lanham, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at the age of 89 years. She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Anita and Monica Lanham, granddaughters, Kayla and Kelsey Lanham as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Belgium. Mom was born in Heist-Op-Den-Berg, Belgium on May 1st, 1924 to Josephine and Alois Nauwelaerts.

STEPHEN FOX SR. ‘Oohkotoksiisahkomaapi’ (Rocky Boy), passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Kainai Continuing Care Centre, with his loving family by his side. Born on November 26, 1919 on the Blood Reserve into the Many Children Clan (Aakaipokaiksi) Stephen was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Those left to celebrate Stephen’s life include his daughter Maryann (Alfred Jr.), grandchildren; Steve Jr.

ELEANOR STEPHENSON (VERES) of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the age of 79 years. She is the loving mother of Larry (Elaine) Veres of Picture Butte, Gerry (Bernie) Veres of Lethbridge, Brian (Sandi) Veres of Lethbridge and Brenda (Lorie) Konsmo of Red Deer. Eleanor is also survived by; 12 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren, 7 brothers and sisters, Esther, Evelyn (Irvine), Gordie, Robert, Clarence (Diana), Leroy (Judy), Shirley, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

KENNETH VAUGHN STERENBERG, of Calgary, passed away at home, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the age of 49 years. Vaughn is survived by his wife Carole, of Lethbridge, sons Kenneth Roger, of Calgary and Ryan John of Lethbridge. He is also survived by three brothers: Greg (Carolyn) and nephew Sean, Gary (Gladys), David (Margaret) and sister Carolyn (Rob), nephew Noah and niece Alia Vucsics. He was predeceased by his parents John and Marie.

He is survived by his loving wife for 54 years Gloria and one son Tim (Lillian) Hnatiuk, two granddaughters Brittany and Kaylum who were the apples of his eyes. he is also survived by two daughters from a previous marriage and numerous other family members. He was predeceased by his parents Fred & Marie, along with his siblings Bill, Dorothy, half-sister Annie and two half-brothers Nick & John.

STEVE HOYTOS, beloved husband to Mrs. Margaret Hoytos of Milk River, father of Jim (Christine) Hoytos and grandfather to Steven and Kenneth Hoytos of Valleyview, Alberta, passed away at the Milk River Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his brother Leslie Hoytos of Milk River and also by Margaret’s sisters, brothers and their spouses as well as numerous nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

Besides his loving wife Kay, Steve is survived by his daughter Simone Peta (Mark Cressman) of Waterloo, ON, grandchildren Celine (Saul) Davis of Vancouver, B.C., Barrett, Ashley, Chanel and Sauve of Ontario. He is also survived by his brother Julius, step-sons Joe (Marg) Woodhouse and Norman (Marie) Woodhouse, 5 step-grandsons, 1 step-granddaughter, 9 step-great grandchildren, brothers-in-law Leonard Haney and Howard (Georgia) Haney and sisters-in-law Anne Peta and Alice Wickend.
