We are sad to announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother and friend. DEBBY STEACY passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 22nd in Lethbridge. Debby is survived by her husband Graham, her sons Jim (Brittany) and Sean (Ashley) and her daughter Heather, all of Lethbridge. She is also survived by her parents Art and Shirley Borzel and her brother Andy Borzel, all of Calgary.

Graham was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Dick Steacy of Saskatoon, and his wife Debby. He is survived by his sons, Jim (Brittany) and Sean (Ashley) of Lethbridge, and his daughter Heather (Mandy) of Victoria. He is also survived by his sister, Miriam Buswell (John) of Borden, and his niece, Kerry Buswell Brown (Dave) of Regina.

LANCE STEELE was born in Nanton, Alberta in 1931, the eldest of three boys and spent his first 11 years on the family ranch in the Basin Valley. After which the Steele family moved to Silverton, B.C. where Lance completed high school. Following a move to Calgary to attend SAIT, Lance met and married his “kindred spirit” Joan Weiers and embarked on a successful 37 year career at TransAlta Utilities (formerly Calgary Power) as a Registered Engineering Technologist.

MARGARET ELIZABETH STEELE, beloved wife of Robert Steele of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Margaret is survived by her loving children, James (Cheryl) Steele of Kamloops, BC, Cathy Steele of Lethbridge, Karen Steele of Calgary and Geoffrey (Christie) Steele of Lethbridge, as well as her five grandchildren, Tyler, Jason, Michael, Christopher and Jaschenka and four great-grandchildren.

His absence will be felt by his children Tim (Lorna) of Calgary, Jerry (Melissa) of San Antonio, Texas, Brian (Rachelle) of Lomond, Sheri (Steve) Holwerda of Newton, Iowa and Michele (Curt) Friesen of Okotoks, 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

It is with great sadness that the family of STEFANIA LISOWICZ, announces her passing on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 87. Stefania is survived by her son Hans (Lynda) Lisowicz, her grandson Jason (Deniece) Lisowicz and a great grandson Tiberius, all of Lethbridge. She also leaves behind numerous relatives in the Ohladiv-Lvov area of Poland (now Ukraine). She was predeceased by her husband Stan in 1986, both of her parents and all of her siblings; Nastasia, Joseph, Tekla, Parania, Anna, Michalina and Wasyl.

MR. LAWRENCE STEFFEN, of Magrath, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the age of 84 years. He was born August 15, 1926 in Muenster, SK and is survived by three children; Cathy (Greg) Baker of Langdon, AB, Brenda Steffen of Carstairs, AB and Cam (Roxane) Steffen of Calgary; six grandchildren, Dustin, Jodi & Cody Baker, Lacey (Jesse) Stewart, Jai Helgeson (Robert Theberge) and Nevada Helgeson; four great-grandchildren, Braydon, Destiny, Lauralie and Jayde.

MR. EDWIN “ED” L. STEGAN passed away peacefully on September 12, 2012 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his wife Laura, his children Jim (Maureen) Stegen, Wendy (John) Laughington, Sandra (Ted) Ashmore, stepchildren Theresa (Joe) Prozniak, Brian (Lynn) Winters, brother Howard and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Jessie in 1992, grandson Jason Stegen, stepson Roy Winters, sisters Sylvia Melsness and Irene Knutson, and brothers Freemont, Bruce, Jack and Dale.

Stephanie Margaret Charlesworth, beloved wife of the late Arthur (Art) Charlesworth, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the age of 91. Stephanie was born on June 9th 1922 on a farm north of Foremost to Kenneth and Jean Dorren. In the late 1920's, Stephanie's family moved to the farm just northwest of Picture Butte. There she attended Twelve Mile School and Picture Butte High School.
